Rae Sremmurd is an American hip hop duo consisting of brothers Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi. They’re known for such singles as “Black Beatles”, “No Type”, “No Flex Zone” and “Throw Sum Mo”. Their Platinum-selling debut album ‘Stremmlife’ was released in 2015 by EarDrummers Entertainment and Interscope Records. The duo followed up with SremmLife 2 (2016) and SR3MM (2018). They’ve won multiple accolades, including a BET Award for ‘Best Group’ and a Billboard Music Award for ‘Top Rap Collaboration.’

CAREER
Rae Sremmurd started out as a three-man band under the moniker “Dem Outta St8 Boyz”. Their stage names at the time were “CaliBoy”, “Kid Krunk” and “Lil Pantz”. The group’s early works were inspired by fellow rapper Soulja Boy. Their first notable track “Party Animal” was released in early 2010. It garnered local attention and radio plays. Lil Pantz was replaced by Andre “King Dre” Harris aka BoBo Swae at some point in 2011.
